The Balmoral Show, run by Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) and sponsored by Ulster Bank is always a highlight in the Glacier Water Systems Ltd calendar.
Now a 4 day event, this amalgamation of agriculture, food, culture, crafts, rides and machinery gets underway on Wednesday 15th May at Balmoral Park near Lisburn.
It will feature more than 650 trade stands and there will also be hundreds of competitions and classes, family entertainment and attractions.
"For us as a team at Glacier Water Systems Ltd, the Balmoral Show is so much more than the sales numbers."
With the NI Pavalion directly opposite the Eikon Centre where our stand is located, we often get our lunch and dinner from some Northern Ireland's leading producers of food and drink.
This goat wrap is a favourite. The Cole family from Broughgammon Farm are never too surprised to see us turn up at their stand for a burger or wrap!
Check them out on Facebook! Probably best not to do this around lunch time.
The interaction between traders at the Balmoral Show is always great. Everyone has sore feet, yes, but there is often great chats about products and services from all across Northern Ireland.
We often take advantage of having so many businesses in one place, spending time chatting to all sorts from mattress builders to necklace makers. You just never know what connections you might make.
David had great fun at the Rogers Toymaster stand last year. They have great unique products, the kind of things kids love. Jonny took the time to get David up and going on this board - that customer service just isn't about anymore in alot of bigger high street brands.
See deals and promotions on their Facebook.
Meeting customers is also a huge part of the Balmoral Show for us.
We often have folks coming onto our stand to tell us they got a water filter last year and they think it is great, or their Quooker Boiling Water tap is doing a great job for all the family.
These little snippets are priceless and really they are why we do what we do. We love to hear how people are now able to drink the water in their home!
